I look for and rely on my surroundings for inspiration. Architecture, clouds, texture on bricks, even the temperature of the day. Also the pace in which I take them in, walking, running, or in the car. Most of the time the greatest inspiration is when I don’t have a camera. But something at that moment makes me think about a different way to approach my photography. How to get from one thought, idea, and stretch that into what could work for me. How can I create in a new way for me? Trying not to rely on visual inspiration specifically. But a collection of thoughts, images, technics from over the twenty years I have been doing photography.
